Why this tool

Share the moment, not the details.

  • Blur or pixelate

A soft blur for faces in the background, chunky pixels for that classic censored look.

  • Black out for good

For ID numbers, card numbers and addresses, a solid box removes the detail completely — nothing to undo.

  • Exactly where you want

Draw as many areas as you like, then drag and resize them. Ovals follow the shape of a face.

  • Live preview

See every change as you make it, then save at full resolution.

  • Free, no sign-up

No account, no watermark, no daily limit. Open the page and get going.

  • Stays on your device

Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to save a result to your private Library.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Blurring faces, hiding text and keeping photos private.

How do I blur a face in a photo?

Open the photo, choose Blur and the Oval shape, then drag over the face. Add more areas for more faces, then save and download.

Is blurring or pixelating safe for hiding text?

Light blurs and big pixels can sometimes be partly reversed on short text like numbers. For anything sensitive — card numbers, ID numbers, addresses — use Black out, which removes the detail completely.

Can someone remove the blur from my saved photo?

No — the saved file only contains the blurred pixels; the original detail isn’t stored anywhere in it. Strong blur, pixelate or black out can’t be turned back into the original.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. It never leaves your device, which matters most for exactly the kind of photos you’d want to blur.

Can I keep the results in my dropNudge Library?

Yes. When your images are ready, press “Save to Library”, sign in with your email (it opens in a small window, so your work stays put) and pick a folder. Saved images are private, kept until you delete them, and count towards your 50 GB of storage.

Is it free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit — use it as often as you like.

Need to send it?

Share your images — or any file up to 6 GB — with a link. No account needed.
