FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything about converting images to JPG.

How do I convert images to JPG?

Select or drop your files, choose the JPG quality, and press Convert. Download each JPG on its own or all of them as one ZIP.

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG doesn’t support transparency, so transparent parts of PNG, WebP or GIF images become white.

Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?

Yes, on browsers that can open HEIC — like Safari on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Other browsers will tell you if they can’t read the file.

What about animated GIFs?

JPG is a still image format, so the first frame of the GIF is saved.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser on your own device. Images are only uploaded if you press “Save to Library” — and then they’re stored privately in your account, where only you can see them.

Can I keep the results in my dropNudge Library?

Yes. When your images are ready, press “Save to Library”, sign in with your email (it opens in a small window, so your work stays put) and pick a folder. Saved images are private, kept until you delete them, and count towards your 50 GB of storage.

Is it free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit — use it as often as you like.

Need to send it?

Share your images — or any file up to 6 GB — with a link. No account needed.
