Why this tool

The format you need, in one click.

  • PNG, WebP or GIF

Lossless PNG for editing, compact WebP for websites, or GIF for old apps and email.

  • No extra quality loss

PNG saves every pixel of your JPG exactly, so repeated edits don’t degrade it further.

  • Same size, same look

Dimensions stay exactly the same — only the format changes.

  • Batch and ZIP

Work on up to 30 images in one go and download them all as a single ZIP file.

  • Stays on your device

Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to save a result to your private Library.

  • Free, no sign-up

No account, no watermark, no daily limit. Open the page and get going.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything about converting JPG to other formats.

How do I convert JPG to GIF?

Select or drop your JPG files, keep GIF selected, and press Convert. Download each file or all of them as a ZIP.

Will converting JPG to PNG improve the quality?

No — converting can’t bring back detail JPG compression already removed. PNG just stops any further loss when you edit and save again.

Why is my PNG bigger than the JPG?

PNG is lossless, so it stores every pixel exactly. For photos that means larger files; WebP is the better choice if you want smaller ones.

Does GIF keep all the colours?

GIF is limited to 256 colours, so detailed photos may show some banding. It works best for simple graphics.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser on your own device. Images are only uploaded if you press “Save to Library” — and then they’re stored privately in your account, where only you can see them.

Can I keep the results in my dropNudge Library?

Yes. When your images are ready, press “Save to Library”, sign in with your email (it opens in a small window, so your work stays put) and pick a folder. Saved images are private, kept until you delete them, and count towards your 50 GB of storage.

Is it free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit — use it as often as you like.

Need to send it?

Share your images — or any file up to 6 GB — with a link. No account needed.
